Description

Our Wishing Well is an online gift registry company. It is possible to set up lists of gifts that guests are able to purchase for the couple online.

The site is not fully accessible which is a shame as it does have a site map and most issues can be worked around by using the WebbIE text browser if a screen reader is used. The main problems are the image links and text editors which is not keyboard accessible.

1Login, Signup and Other Forms Accessible Fair Labels for form fields are missing and not associated correctly with input elements. Problems occur with NVDA screen reader although they can be seen in a the text browser WebbIE.
2Image ALT Attributes Fair Some images are used as links and do not have alternative text. Other images also do not appear to have alt tags. Screen reader users will miss some features on the site.

9Tab Orderings Correct and Logical Good Logical tab order, tabindex used in some pages. Once tabbed into the text editor, keyboard exit alone does not seem possible.
10Page Functionality with Keyboard Fair Some elements in the text editor's toolbar are inaccessible without the mouse.
11Accessibility of Text Editors Good Partial accessibility with access to some tools.
12Appropriate Feedback with Forms Excellent Suitable text feedback.
13Contrast and Colour Check Excellent Acceptable site contrast.
14Page Integrity when Zooming Excellent Layout and readability of the page unaffected by zooming.
15Text size, style, blinking elements and Readability Good Most of the fonts are between size 10-12, serif style with no blinking elements. Readability may be hampered in places with background images.
